You've done a wonderful job making this workaround easy to setup.

Thank you so much! Hi, Was wondering if you knew of other storage sites, to upload mp3 too, to be able to share as above on our blogs Hi Ness, I took a look last night at your request and didn't find anything yet. DropBox used to allow public links but removed them in October.

I'll keep looking. Thanks, Don! I have a meeting to go to tomorrow morning and need to load an MP3 file for it. Your willingness to share information is outstanding and so compassionate.

You have me on the way to the meeting ahead of schedule! Hi Rozanne! Glad it helped you out!! Hope your meeting goes well. Sorry Vijay, I don't understand your question - upload in a label? You can upload your songs to Google Sites using the 'Add Files' button at the bottom of the Google Site page that you created in my tutorial above. You have to go to Part 2 of this tutorial to do that. I got this working on two posts on a single blog. I added the code to make it play automatically.

However, that created a problem. OR on windows 8 native 8 mode of IE, you crash the browser. How can I make this work so it only plays the audio if it is the most recent post of if someone goes directly to a post. Thank you for this! Maybe what I want to do is not possible: I am an English teacher. I want to make recordings of students reading their stories available to other students in the class for comment without having the recordings be public anywhere in the process.

Is this possible without paying for a host of a private blog? I would like to add mp3 files to my blog. Yet, when I follow your directions exactly as you state them, I cannot get past the name mediafiles step. When I add the name, it copies in the url section just below it. Then when I select create: I get an error message: The location you have chosen is not available. Please help.

Hi Patrick, I'm not sure what's happening specifically. Maybe you should try creating another new Google Site and add the mediafiles page there as a test. It might just be a configuration problem in your Site. I'm using the tips u said for adding background music to a post or site. But, it is only downloading the mp3 file rather than playing. I used ur Embed method also. But, doesn't work for me.

I'm unable to see arrow to get link to mp3 file, so that I right click on the donwload button and selecting copy link url. I've followed these instructions and don't get the options to download, etc either. However, it doesn't have the info after that for the height and width of the pdf and it only shows the link when publishing, not the actual pdf doc. Thank you from both myself and my followers for showing me how to put a pdf file on my blog My only questions would be: You say, "By default the width of the document is set to pixels while the height is set to pixels.

You can reduce the width and height according to your needs. I am not sure how to go about this and does doing so affect a print out size of the file? Thank you No, It doesn't effect the Changes in the print out, that is completely differnet thing. Makes sense. Click 'Start Publishing'. You will see a new window that has the embed code on it.

You can use this on your website. It is free. I followed every step and works fine…now i have it on my blog page but i like to be able to click on it and make it big enough to be able to read it well..

After click the Save, I could not see blogger starter. Hello, thanks so much for the code - it works great! However, I am finding that the loading of the pdf window auto scrolls the page down as soon as it loads. So for example on this post that you have the PDF embed, it auto scrolls to the embeded PDF as soon as the page loads. I have to scroll to the top to start at the beginning of the article. Any ideas on how to work around that issue? I would like to use my pdf file as an ebook on my blog.

I would like to add it as a gadget. How would I go about doing that once it's embedded? Thank you :. That's exactly what I am wondering since last so many hours. And after realizing that there is none Open your uploaded PDF Document or etc. Then you'll notice a some options on the top.

Please is there any link to download the pdf doc after uploading it to google drive, without making it public or embeding it my blog. Its simple enough. You do not have to use iframe just make it public and use href link instead. Nice guide for adding Pdf document files to our blogger posts and i will try to use.

I try but no avail. Hi, thanks for this. James Bruce The same way you add a link to a website - just click insert link and paste the url to the pdf file. Hosting the file is another question entirely. For example, you can store those files in cloud services such as dropbox. Just make sure that files being linked to are not copyrighted or you might get into trouble.

You could also check if your site allows to store files with their account.
